Buy tickets to SpaceSpace IbizaHistoryWhen it first opened in 1989, Space wasn’t a dance club; it played live bands, had Flamenco shows and was host to Mr and Miss Ibiza! At the time Playa D'en Bossa was a fairly quite family resort. Then in 1991, a young Alex P, who was working at the club at the time, took a set of decks behind the bar outside and played some tunes to the people enjoying a quiet drink on the terrace. Two years later, Brandon Block joined him and the Space Terrace was born. In the time that’s passed, Space has become one of the world’s premier clubs and virtually every top DJ worldwide has played there. The club makes full use of Spain’s licensing laws (which states that an establishment must be closed a minimum of 2 hours each day) by opening for up to 22 hours. There are usually morning, afternoon and evening events at the club, culminating in the marathon session on Sundays. Music lovers now flock to Space for different nights from leading lights such as Carl Cox, We Love, La Troya, Matinee and more.

Music PolicyVaries from Uplifting house to trance to techno depending upon room and night. ‘We Love Sundays’ is the big night at Space . While new trading laws mean it cant go on for the 22 hours that is used to, its still always one e. No clubbers trip to Ibiza is complete without going to this and, for many, it is the main night of the holiday. Expect to see some of the best House and Progressive DJs, alongside top quality residents, each and every Sunday throughout the summer.
Inside SpaceThe capacity of Space is approximately 5-6,000. The old Terrace now unrecognizable following a revamp. Its now enclosed by glass following the introduction of a huge sound but it can now stay open until 6am. Inside the sound and lighting will blow you away. DJ's love it here, and the clubbers love it here! The club is like a Mecca to clubbers from all around the world. People fly in specifically for the opening and closing parties where an extra stage is set up outside in the car park. Sits generally thought of as the greatest club in the world, not for its appearance but for its quality, its music, its atmosphere, sound system and lineups. Its less glam than some of the other big players in Ibiza and that is what some people love about it. PricesYou can end up spending a fair bit of money on a session at Space. You are looking at about €50-60 (£35-40) for entry (with a flyer) for Sundays (you can get cheaper if you go early); though some of the smaller days/nights in the week are a lot cheaper. For drinks you are looking at €10 (£7) for a beer, €12 (£8.40) for a spirit + mixer, and €8 (£5.50) for water. You are only allowed one pass out, so, if you’re going for a long session, make sure you take enough cash. Even if House music is not your thing, Space is still an awesome club and is well worth a visit. The club attracts clubbers from all over the world. The music and sound is always top draw, the venue terrific and atmosphere amazing. You will regret it if you don’t go – it's what Ibiza is all about.
