Buy tickets to El DivinoEl DivinoHistoryEl Divino was built in 1992 and was initially a private “VIP only” club with one resident DJ. Later it opened its doors to the general public and has grown from there on. Over the years the 1,500 capacity venue has hosted a number of promoters
looking to move into the Ibiza scene. Some, such as Defected and Roger Sanchez's
Release Yourself made the move to Pacha, thus attracting accusations of
poaching. LocationEl Divino can be found in the middle of Ibiza Town’s marina, not far from
Pacha, directly opposite the port where all the shopping and late night
festivities take place. You can catch a boat from Ibiza harbour direct to the
club. Music Policy Quality, funky, house music, with a touch of glam, is the main theme at El Divino these days.
Inside El DivinoIt's designed with glamorous in mind. There's one main dance floor with
space for a few hundred with a slightly cramped-looking DJ booth at the foot of
stairs which lead to the interior VIP. With a capacity of 1,500, the club is pretty small by Ibiza’s standards.
PricesThe clientele at El Divino is fairly similar to Pacha though entrance is cheaper than its neighbour - you may be able to get tickets for as little (by Ibiza standards) as €35 (£25). Drink prices are the same as most of the clubs, which is €10 (£7) for a beer, €12 (£8.40) for a spirit + mixer, and €8 (£5.50) for water. Taxi fares will be refunded for a group of 3 or more people arriving at the club – just show them your receipt.
El Divino is more than an Ibiza Town alternative to Pacha; it’s a great club in its own right. You can always guarantee that the music will be spot on, the atmosphere lively and the crowd in party mood. El Divino is well worth a visit.
