Buy tickets to Eden
Eden Ibiza Eden is the island's newest superclub. It is San Antonio’s premier club with 5,000 capacity, big nights and big DJs.
HistoryThe club first opened in the 1980’s under the name ‘Kaos’, and was mainly a bit of a cheesy affair, popular with the Club 18-30 element. In 1999 the club underwent a massive multi-million pound renovation and became Eden. The music became more dance, less cheese. Judge Jules was a consultant in the design of the dj booth and the Radio 1 jock also occupies the club on Sundays for Eden's most high profile night. Location Bang on the waterfront of San Antonio, opposite the harbour, in the heart of San An. A disco bus takes clubbers back and forth throughout the night between the club and the bay.
Music PolicyThe music at Eden is mainly Trance and House, though in the past couple of years there’s also been a UK Garage night. Funky house is on offer when Garlands and Dusted are in the building. R'n'B and hip hop have also been attempted with varying degrees of success. 'Retro' caters to the old skool rave market. Also, try the back room on any night for alternative sounds. Judgement Sunday is by far the most popular night at the club and you can expect to see many top name guests join Judge Jules on the decks each summer. 2008 sees Pete Tong come to the club, bringing a quality, high profile, house night and he is joined weekly by Groove Armada. Inside EdenThere has been a lot of improvements made to the look and feel of the club
recently. The sound system is powerful, the lighting effects are pretty good
and there are plenty of bars.
PricesThe price of entrance to Eden can vary from night to night. For Judgement Sunday expect to pay about €50 (£35) whilst smaller nights can be as low as €20 (£14). Drink prices are about €8 (£5.50) for a beer, €10 (£7) for a spirit + mixer, and €6 (£4) for water.
Eden is quite English in feel and design, and is most popular with the English staying in San An. There's normally a good atmosphere inside and it’s worth a visit. Note - Unlike every other club in Ibiza there is a dress code - no football shirts, no beachwear and tops to be worn at all times.
